I'll give that a try. sounds like there should be a feature though to turn off the underline because when I was reading a page on the Internet since the vo curser was moving with the display lot's of stuff was underlined.

Actually, what is on the display and in the vo cursor is underlined. If nothing on the display is in the vo cursor, nothing will have dots 7 and 8 attached to it unless there is another reason for it. If only part of what is on the display is in the vo cursor, that part will be underlined. Try it with the vo manual when you can, fire it up in preview the pdf version that is, start panning with the braille display and immediately,
nothing is in the vo cursor.

so are you saying that when the display is in the same place as the vo curser it will underline but once past that point the underline will go
away?

not everything is underlined, that which is underlind is in the vo
cursor. There is only one way I know of to circumvent this and that is
through panning.

Here's a question for those using leopard with Braille. I connected a humanware Brailliant to the mac and it worked quite well. Problem,
when trying to read I noticed everything looked like it was
underlined. I am gathering this is because it is following the
voiceover curser. How do I stop it from doing this. It's a great feature and the fact that the connection is literally instantainious
is amazing.

I use two braille displays and the braille support is quite good. One of the things we have talked about is how in mac os, when editing a document, it is hard to explain how the cursor works, braille shows this quite well with a cursor that spans two cells. You have to see
it to appreciate it or touch it as the case may bee.
