You will find details on formulas, functions, and keystrokes under the help 
menu in Numbers.  The basic commands and syntax are similar to other 
spreadsheet programs.  For example, pressing the = tells the computer that you 
are going to enter a formula.  Under the insert menu, there is a functions 
submenu with some basic formula options such as sum.  I don't know the command 
for auto sum in Numbers.
