I wouldn’t agree because the cost of a dedicated machine isn’t justified.  The 
I7 in a Mac is the same I7 that’s in a PC it’s just a matter of what you run on 
it.  I know of installations with lots of Mac servers hosting virtual 
environments.  The most common environment is native VMWare on commodity intel 
iron.  You raise some good points though.
