Actually you probably can have both Documents and Downloads open, or at least I can. For one thing, if you think a window has disappeared, try using the back button in your toolbar and you may find it; be sure to repeat using the back button until it dims to see everything there. Also experiment with cmd-t to open a new tab and go to Documents and then do cmd-t again and go to downloads. If your tab bar is showing, cmd-shift-tm you can then change tabs. I haven't figured out everything well enough to give a clear explanation of everything, but I think if you will experiment with new tabs, new windows, cmd-accenting, selecting from tab bar and using the back button you will find nothing is actually missing; it's just different and at least compared to what we were doing seems a little confusing. -- Cheryl May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to You, Lord, my rock and my Redeemer.
