No, it has no effect. I really think its a bug in either Mail or VO. nOt
sure which though.

Hi Deb And all,

I don't use conversations myself, but I can resolve some other issues by
command-tab away and back. Let us know if this works.

Hi!!
Ever since I've had my Macbook Pro I've had a periodic puzzle in mail.
Usually when I want to expand a conversation I can right arrow on the
conversation. I can collapse it by moving to the top and doing a left arrow.

But sometimes, for no reason that I can understand, this stops working and I
must press VO space to open or close the conversation.
Sometimes I've returned to the expected behavior by closing and reopening
mail but sometimes that doesn't work either until some unknown event
corrects the problem once again.
I've tried closing all other apps in case some window is in the way etc.
I find this really annoying and inconsistent. I'd love to know what's
actually going on and how to stop it once and for all if someone knows.
Thanks for any thoughts on this.
