Hi John:
Yeah I quit mail, I Zoomed, I swore a little. What actually fixed it this time 
was writing my post to the list. My sighted co-worker who uses a Mac can't 
reproduce this visually so far so it may be a VO thing but it's certainly 
frustrating because I find no consistent way to resolve it.
