[lit-ideas] What the fuck is going on here?
'Mike Geary' argues for the reinstatement of list membership for the persona named 'JL Speranza', threatening to leave if this is not done. 'JLS' is reinstated - and 'Mike Geary' disappears anyway.
Then we are treated with a deluge of - as Robert Paul succinctly put it - 'factitious' ("artificially created or developed") 'facetious' ("treating serious issues with deliberately inappropriate humor") or 'fanciful' ("overimaginative and unrealistic") posts that make a mockery of serious dialogue and debate.
Not content with this general sabotage of the list, 'JLS' now feels the need to mock me personally in his posts.
It's all too deep (i.e., the level of bullshit) for me. I suppose it all had to end sometime, but i little imagined that it would be quite *this* distatsteful.
