Phil -- Could you elaborate a bit? I read the passage you quote from Habermas as a more nuanced version of what Eric Yost was saying. Is that how you read it or am I missing something? When you wrote "...a more nuanced account from Habermas..." I was expecting the passage you quoted to be affirming/elaborating Walter's position.
