Part of Perdue's case...

I must be the one of the last sixteen people who haven't read this book -- although I had at least twenty students last year urge me to. I have read his earlier book Angels and Demons (what an unimaginative title, eh?). A few days before I saw the court case referred to in the link, I had said to someone how much better a title The Davinci Code was. Maybe he didn't plagiarize the book, but he sure 'borrowed' the title. Ursula

I think Dan Brown raises interesting questions. His playing fast and loose
with some of the historical facts doesn't invalidate his questions, and his
fast and loose is no faster or looser than anyone else's, including that of
the Bible and other "holy" books.
