LAWRENCE: "Alas, someone making up his own principles like Billy
Blogblather, Anton Chigurh, have made French Valley a little less desirable
to live in.'

MOI: Silly man, I don't make up my own principles. I acquired them through
my world -- just as you did yours. And our worlds acquired them through
thousands of years of experience and experimentation. I agree with Rorty:
"There is only the dialogue, only us, there is no such thing as
transcultural rationality."

LAWRENCE:* (referring to Moi):* "He does not value patriotism, heroism,
Western Civilization, or Nationhood."

MOI: I don't do abstract nouns, sorry. They have as much substance as
shadows.
