There are very few sports I haven't tried. Windsurfing is a threshold
sport. To move and "get the hang of it" is one thing. To fly a kite or
jump and hang in the air is beyond a threshold, a place I have not been. I
have, however, surfed an Olympic class sailing dinghy and that is
extraodinarily freeing and amazing-- particularly if you are the guy out on
the trapeze, scudding along--until Nature asserts itself, and the mast
snaps.
