Some of the writers present theories of why this association exists. Others
parse Leftism in such a way as to show which Leftists support Islamism, i.e.
Those who favored Communism & Socialism, and the Anarchists. The
environmentalists and the "new Socialists" (whatever they are) aren't in the
writers mind so closely associated with Islamism.
