I hadn't eaten meat for so long that when I had a soy based meat something
a few years ago with a texture made to resemble meat, I didn't like it. A
meat eater might argue that I didn't like it because it's an imitation, but
I don't think so. The texture was what I remembered and it was too much
like meat. The idea of eating something that simulates something that came
out of a slaughter house just doesn't do it for me. Still, in answering
Andreas' question, I might eat a vat grown steak. If no animal was hurt in
the process, I don't see a reason not to eat it.
