Germany was/is IN (as in was a member of) the Western Civilization, and we
fought a WORLD WAR against them. Therefore, what does "Clash of
Civilizations" mean?

What about Japan? I seem to recall there was some unpleantries with Japan in 1930-1945. Is Japan a different civilization, or part of the Western economic world?

This "clash of civilizations" has zero economic reality. It's just the pipe dream of arm chair generals who prove their valor by sending others to die in meaningless wars.
