At PNCA I am whacking away at this pretty much as the man at a sideshow hits gophers. What I need is a breeding program for active curiosities, which it may be helpful to think of as kinds of rat terrier.

I'm pretty sure I don't use the term "common sense" as my father's generation did--those matters on which the British middle class agree. I was thinking it was even possible I'd never used the term, but then I remembered Tom Paine.
