If they're responsible only for wiretapping (essentially looking for a needle in a haystack), who's going to rebuild the country in cases of natural disaster? For that matter, after the next terrorist strike, the one that walks in our open border. BTW, did you see Lou Dobbs tonight? The Mexicans in Mexico (have to make that distinction nowadays) have an extreme sport (repeat: sport) that simulates illegals crossing the border. If the senate amnesty bill passes, it will cost the country $120 billion over 10 ten years for services that the illegals will be entitled to. After ten years, it goes even higher. I wonder if they will be allowed to hold dual citizenship. Their hearts are in Mexico even if their bodies are here. Communities are getting intolerant. The ACLU is supporting.their right to be here illegally. I don't understand that at all, but Michael Chertoff isn't worried about it.
