I use KDE myself :( The current kde gave me the willies;-), so I've come back to gnome...for now. Though I'm none too pleased with the selection of themes, I'm using a reverse high contrast, which is, at least, black. Trouble is, gtk. I open, say, gqview, & it's black on grey with a whole bunch of white. I've tried just setting the colours of fg & bg (from http://library.n0i.net/linux-unix/applications/x/gnome/gtk-tutorial/gtk_tut-21.html), but that made no change. I then copied over the entire rc file example & edited to my preference, but that produces no change. WTF? Why do coders insist on bright, bright, bright? -- I think that I shall never see A billboard lovely as a tree. Perhaps, unless the billboards fall I'll never see a tree at all. -Ogden Nash To unsubcribe send e-mail with the word unsubscribe in the body to: Linux-Anyway-Request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?body=unsubscribe
