i also want to find the problem which causes liblouis to crash in some 
OpenOffice applications.

As for the letter bug, I don't understand it. I can't reproduce it when 
I use lou_translate directly, and I've modifified 
compileTranslationTable.c so that the letter opcode is treated the same 
as 

uplow Aa 1 

for example.

What is the Unicode bug?
