I for one use them both ways, so I am really looking forward to seeing this
work implemented :-)
I think that dm/simlify-passes is ready, but I'm stuck until someone helps me
figure out my make check issue (see earlier post). I'd like to do a full test
before creating the pull request. Alternatively, if anyone would like to do it
for me, build from dm/simlify-passes in my fork. I don't mind doing it, of
course, but, even when I build from master, make check is failing with an odd
error.
