This is a copy of the description which I posted in the NVDA ticketing system, too.


Both input and output tables are german 8-dots. Pressing NVDA+z folowed by some input in Notepad.
Writing: hello world. This is displayed correctly on the braille display.
Following unicode characters appered in Notepad instead of the string typed in: ⠓⠑⠇⠇⠕ ⠺⠕⠗⠇⠙ When U.S. braille table is selected (both input and output) everything works as expected.


I hope this is sufficient.
