Hello Bill, Are you sure you have switched on the camera by slightly touching the releasebuttom as well?? This seem to be the 'problem' I think. I have checked this on my DM-R..... Once I went back to my Leica-dealer with my M6 camera because I believed the camera was broken: I just forgot to switch on the camera by putting the shutterdial in right position (and that after 20 years of professional use of M-Leica's......;-)) HTH kind regards Fred Hess ----- Original Message ----- From: "William Abbott" <wbabbott3@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <leicareflex@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, December 12, 2007 6:22 AM Subject: [LRflex] DNR EV problem > Hi all, > > My DMR has begun to act strangely: After I switch it on, I can set > the EV to plus or minus any amount within the bounds, but after the > first exposure, I can no longer set the EV. > > In fact there is no EV display of any kind, other than the letters > "EV."
