Hello To all. Just got a wilder technical idea! Put the M8 sensosr into a four third frame. of course part of the sensor is not used. This will be a 9 MP system but the lenses are fully compatible with the 4/3 This is the M8 sensor, come on :) DNG files, comaptible with Silkypix :-) If you look at a 4/3 flange, you see that a 1/2 of the surface is used, the sensor could be larger. Even if only 80 to 90% of the M8 sensor gives a reasonable image, it is a camera not too expensive with an extra large sensor (good for marketing !!). Just stop down to have better results... You an even use sensors which did not pass the quality test on edges, no one would detect :) Factor, hmmm, 4/3 divides by two, M8 divides by 1.25, all together, it is.... 1.6 Not worse than the Epson RD1 !!! A 24mm becomes a 40mm ... Happy :) This is very wild. All depends of the abilty to use the 4/3 mount A lens 14-50mm becomes a 22 to 80mm (in Oskar's format)-> YES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A 560mm R lens yields 896mm (almost a 1m, not bad) Argh, you think, the French should stop drinking the champagne. Probably....... But, it is worth looking at it :) even for a CL..... Okay, I'm off :(---------------------------------Xavier F.
