Did I sell him a Miranda? No actually Smith was using an Olympus Pen F in those days. I specifically remember asking him- since he did an advert for that camera what did he think of it- and he loved it. I never forgot that. I was lucky- a neighbor had one day told me something to the effect- that since I was a photographer maybe I'd heard of her cousin. That gave me the opening to be able to speak to WES. Soft spoken and unassuming. - vroger --- FreeLists Mailing List Manager <ecartis@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > leica Digest Sun, 22 May 2005 Volume: 02 Issue: 139 > > In This Issue: > Re: leica Digest V2 #138 > Re: leica Digest V2 #138 > The Crazy World of Photography. :-) > Re: The Crazy World of Photography. :-) > > ---------------------------------------------------------------------- > > Date: Sun, 22 May 2005 07:04:00 -0700 (PDT) > From: "V.Roger" <vroger@xxxxxxxxx> > Subject: Re: leica Digest V2 #138 > > Having read Mark Rabiner's recollection reminded me > of > my own background...Went to a high school which > specialised in music and art and I was involved in > both.
