No nets in pond hockey. Just a 6' wide, 10" high space to aim at. Scores were typically 15 to 7 and so forth. For a 30 minute game, these are high scores when compared to NHL hockey!

As for defensemen... no such thing. Everybody plays every postilion, as the need/feel demands. And everybody has a bundle of fun!
