I feel extreme sadness to hear of Tom leaving us. I first met Tom in 1997 when he helped me with my Amateur courses, gave me the tests and made me get on the air with 2 meters. He made me talk and he did it with humor. When I first came home with my call sign and told him what it was he laughed so hard I will never forget it. Shortly after Tom arrived with his bow & arrow to help me install my G5RV and it is still there. Tom had a heart of gold and would help anyone in need. This is a very sad time for me.
