Subject: [JA] Juno 4 Inbox read error / FOLD0000.FRM renamed to FOLD0000.BAD

I have just learned, due to a friends computer crash, that the Juno 4
.FRM files are almost as bad as the Juno 5 .BDB files. After running
scandisk the FOLD0000.FRM file got truncated and could not be read by
Juno 4. Scandisk created over a thousand FILEXXXX.CHK files of which at least
some are pieces of the original FOLD0000.FRM file, the Inbox folder.

Has anyone else experienced this? Has anyone recovered from this?

===============
Larry...haven't had that happen, but NO file is totally safe from possible harm
or corruption. That's why we just HAVE to backup Juno and any other data files
regularly. I try to do it at least once a week with Juno, since Email cmes and
goes so frequently.
