Hi Babette, and All,

Whoops... my mistake... I DID mean most "modern" versions of Juno...
<g>... but you're correct, I reviewed my old versions too, and NO auto
spell check. This is definitely a "new" feature in v5. So maybe your
friend has the box for it checked. It's been added at the bottom of all
the features and check boxes listed in *Options/E-mail Preferences/Spell
Check Options* which is the same list as *Options/Spell Check Options* in
v4. Been using v5 about a year now I guess, and also use several other
mail clients, all of which have auto spell check... and guess I just got
carried away.

If he's typed a message and there are no spelling errors, he may not even
know the spell checker has run. Anyway, your friend running v5 does have
an auto spell check feature... you can steer him to that check box and he
can experiment with turning it on and off and see which he prefers.

George Lunt ..... so. cal.
