Marie - >A while back someone noted that if one sent an empty self-addressed >message each time mail was retrieved then that message would come in >first. I adopted the practice to help me delete spam. However I now >notice that my self-addressed empty message comes in first sometimes >but >often comes in second or third. Is there something I'm missing? ------- When I download mail, my own last-sent messages are usually the first ones in. Makes sense. When they aren't, I assume that someone else's messages were being processed or transferred somewhere along the line but weren't quite ready to download. Occasionally, however, my "just-sent" message doesn't appear until quite a few others - belonging to other lists - have come in. I attribute that to minor server problems, etc. Carolyn Stoffel Rakena Basenjis - Puppup and Cotton The Canine Contingent; The Puppuppies - Pendant, Insula, Mosey Phoenix, Arizona carolynstoffel@xxxxxxxx (No Internet access) http://rakena.freeyellow.com/index.html ________________________________________________________________ GET INTERNET ACCESS FROM JUNO!
