When I download mail, my own last-sent messages are usually the first
ones in. Makes sense. When they aren't, I assume that someone else's
messages were being processed or transferred somewhere along the line but
weren't quite ready to download. 


Occasionally, however, my "just-sent" message doesn't appear until quite
a few others - belonging to other lists - have come in. I attribute that
to minor server problems, etc.
