Time to sign-up for the Te^'t jjr/MC69-70 video conference. The proposed
format is to have the travelers on video, and the rest of us on audio.
The travelers to the Old COuntry over the '02 Christmas- '03 New Year
holidays, who have agred to participate, are
Nguye^~n Trung Chi', aka Ronin ... bachelor #1
Nguye^~n Ma.nh Tu`ng, aka Sa Ddo.a ... "bachelor" #2
Lu+u The^' Vu~, aka Don VuTo ... family man #1
Nguye^~n Tro.ng Tu', aka Pho' Lu.m Banh ... family man #2
Vu~ Ha'n Vie^.t, aka Dr VW ... audio only ... family man #3
The plan is for the travelers to tell us about their trips. We are
especially interested in the touristic places that they would recommend.
Since a number of them went back to the Old Country alone (no "significant
other" in tow), we would like to hear about their escapades in the remote
jungles of Saigon and other big cities, in addition to their treks through
the natural jungles.
The plan is to start on Saturday at 8 AM North American Pacific time (10 AM
Central, 11 AM NA East Coast, 5 PM Western Europe, midnight Shanghai).
It looks like we will need only 2 video screens (C+T+V will be together at
Don VuTo, + NTT).
To participate, you will need Yahoo Messenger and an account with them.
Depending on the amount of participation you want to have, you will need
either just your PC + speaker, or you can add a microphone to interact. So,
please let me know who wants to participate since I have to set up the
conference call. For the video connection, you will need to request a link
from Don VuTo and Pho' Lu.m Banh during the conference.
