For The flight plan it is better to steer clear of the X codes as IVAO doesn't recognise them. As the codes also appear on controller's flight strips this can be confusing for the poor dears so best to not use them. The Pirep is a different matter as it is a personal record between you and JHB. I'm happy for you to use them because the pireps all end up on my PC anyway. bones bones@xxxxxxx -----Original Message----- From: jhb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jhb-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Gerry Winskill Sent: 21 January 2011 08:51 To: JHB Restricted Subject: [jhb] Pirep Query Having been fiddling around with their associated autogen, I'm about to take a few flights between farm strips. When their codes are entered into the IVAO Pirep forms they are classified as non existant. Should I just put them in anyway, or would it be better to enter codes for the nearest ICAO coded departure and arrivals fields, then note the actual strips used, in the Comments section?
