Same here Mike. Flown all my life, had doors off aircraft for photo ops, Sat by
the door on a helicopter with nothing strapping me in and even did a parachute
course - but I still get wobbly standing near any drop. Don't ask me to go up a
ladder either because I just freeze.

We've been up to that spot too! Vertigo, oh yes! I hated it... :-) How
strange it is that I have no problems when looking down from the cockpit of a
PA28 at 2000' yet, stick me on the top of a cliff at similar heights & I
really do throw a wobbly...!
