Indeed, here's the procedure: alt-i, k takes you into the bookmark dialog. If you're adding a bookmark, type the name you want it to have in the edit combo box where you land, then hit alt-a to add the bookmark and return to the document. I did not check to see if Add is the default button; if it is, Enter will suffice. While in the edit combo box, you can arrow down to a name of an existing bookmark and hit alt-g to go to it or alt-d to delete it. You can also tab once past that box to choose whether bookmarks are sorted alphabetically by name or in the order in which they appear in the document. Hope that clarifies the matter.
