Indeed, here's the procedure: alt-i, k takes you into the bookmark 
dialog.  If you're adding a bookmark, type the name you want it to have in 
the edit combo box where you land, then hit alt-a to add the bookmark and 
return to the document.  I did not check to see if Add is the default 
button; if it is, Enter will suffice.  While in the edit combo box, you can 
arrow down to a name of an existing bookmark and hit alt-g to go to it or 
alt-d to delete it.  You can also tab once past that box to choose whether 
bookmarks are sorted alphabetically by name or in the order in which they 
appear in the document.
