G'day, I have experienced the same intermittent problems and it would seem the situation has been getting worse especially with the JFW 7.1 public beta's . I too am using the Nvidia 8.4.2.1 reference drivers with a Winfast GF4 MX440 card. Cheers. What version of the driver are you using? I upgraded back in april since jfw has a tendency to have a problem whenver I start my system. it usually says that the jaws application has encountered an error and must close, and asks if I want to send a report. I was hoping that upgrading the video driver to my current version would help this problem. but it didn't help. i currently have version 8.4.2.1 dated 03/09/2006 installed. Many thanks for you help and advice. phil ----- Original Message ----- From: "Rick Harmon" <rickharmon@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Saturday, June 10, 2006 4:07 PM Subject: Re: windows xp pro crashing > Hi debbie, > > Its a video driver related problem.
