Hi, Same drivers here. When a friend of mine analysis's the dump created by windows after the system crashs it comes back to jawsvid.dll and I haven't been able to solve the problems either. Mine usually crashes doing stuff in outlook express. FS tells me that they can't duplicate the problem so I seem to be out of luck. Good luck in finding a fix. I installed them about a month ago, NVIDIA GeForce2 mx/mx 400, dated 03/09/2006. I have also noticed that jfw is pausing a long time before speaking sometimes, perhaps 30 seconds. phil ----- Original Message ----- From: Rick Harmon To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Saturday, June 10, 2006 11:46 AM Subject: Re: windows xp pro crashing Hi Phil, Try upgrading your video drivers if you can and please be aware that this will cause jaws video intercetp manager to break requireing you to use narrator to fix. If you are not sure how to do it then you may want to not do this. I don't know if it is a jfw problem or something else. Whenever I go to the rfbd.org site, go to the book catalog, and do a search for titles containing windows 2003, then I start to read the results table. as soon as I get past the first title, and start to read the second title, windows crashes and reboots. after rebooting, i get the message about windows stopping and i send the error report to microsoft. the web page tthat comes up says that a device driver has caused the problem, and there is no resolution for the problem. I have tried this with both jfw 7.0 and the beta version witht he same results. this seems to be the only place that it occurs however. I have tried switching jaws to use a different sound card, thinking that perhaps it was audio related. same results. anyone have any ideas? phil ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- No virus found in this incoming message.
