An update to my situation...I discovered that my problem with my computer freezing occurs in internet explorer when I open the favorites menu, or when I go to the edit box and type for a search. The typing gets sluggish, then the computer freezes and I have to restart. I ran a virus scan and nothing came up. Yesterday, when I opened outlook express and started typing a reply to an email, the same thing happened. I haven't tried uninstalling and reinstalling jaws, but is this sounding more like a jaws issue? ----- Original Message ----- From: "Omar Binno" <omarbinno@xxxxxxxxx>

Hi,

What I am describing happens randomly. If it was a virus, wouldn't it happen consistently? ----- Original Message ----- From: "mostafa almahdy" <mostafa.almahdy@xxxxxxxxx>

Hello:
it bares like a virus, scan your system properly, and to launch the
desk clean operation on XP Home, choose the following:
one:
open the start menu.
two:
select the programme submenu.
three:
select accessories.
four:
system tools.
five:
Disk cleanup, and then select the drive which you want to comprise in
the prompt, it is recommended to be redun periodically, I sincerely
hope that is useful.

Hello,

I'm using jaws 10 on a windows xp home system. I have internet explorer 8 installed. I wanted to run this by here to try and pinpoint whether or not this is a jaws 10 issue or not. Sometimes, when I open internet explorer or outlook express, the computer freezes for about 30 seconds, then the entire
screen goes black and I end up having to restart my computer. Also, when
this happens, i sometimes lose cookies from internet explorer that have my password saved from my GMail account, for example, and i end up having to go back to my gmail or facebook accounts to re-enter the info. Has anyone else
had similar experiences?

Thanks.
