Hi Adrien,

Are you refering to the one where you go to the properties of the harddrive and
choose the disk clean?

  Omar,

There are so many possible explanations for these problems, but I'd start by
doing a disc clean. Just so you know, I've used JAWS 10 and IE8 on my system,
which is XP and not your XP Home, without a hitch. That doesn't mean they
aren't implicated in your case. However, I'm guessing the problem lies
somewhere else. A disc clean, if you haven't done it for a while, has a good
chance of eliminating false positives.

If you're unfamiliar with MS's disc clean, please post back.

  Subject: strange issue

  Hello,

I'm using jaws 10 on a windows xp home system. I have internet explorer 8
installed. I wanted to run this by here to try and pinpoint whether or not this
is a jaws 10 issue or not. Sometimes, when I open internet explorer or outlook
express, the computer freezes for about 30 seconds, then the entire screen goes
black and I end up having to restart my computer. Also, when this happens, i
sometimes lose cookies from internet explorer that have my password saved from
my GMail account, for example, and i end up having to go back to my gmail or
facebook accounts to re-enter the info. Has anyone else had similar experiences?

  Thanks.
