Hi Adrien, Are you refering to the one where you go to the properties of the harddrive and choose the disk clean? ----- Original Message ----- From: Adrian Spratt To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, December 16, 2010 11:50 PM Subject: RE: strange issue Omar, There are so many possible explanations for these problems, but I'd start by doing a disc clean. Just so you know, I've used JAWS 10 and IE8 on my system, which is XP and not your XP Home, without a hitch. That doesn't mean they aren't implicated in your case. However, I'm guessing the problem lies somewhere else. A disc clean, if you haven't done it for a while, has a good chance of eliminating false positives. If you're unfamiliar with MS's disc clean, please post back. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Omar Binno Sent: Thursday, December 16, 2010 10:16 PM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: strange issue Hello, I'm using jaws 10 on a windows xp home system. I have internet explorer 8 installed. I wanted to run this by here to try and pinpoint whether or not this is a jaws 10 issue or not. Sometimes, when I open internet explorer or outlook express, the computer freezes for about 30 seconds, then the entire screen goes black and I end up having to restart my computer. Also, when this happens, i sometimes lose cookies from internet explorer that have my password saved from my GMail account, for example, and i end up having to go back to my gmail or facebook accounts to re-enter the info. Has anyone else had similar experiences? Thanks.
