Never done it myself, but I see no reason it wouldn't work, as someone has said, provided that nothing about the computer changes.

 The short answer is sort of. Once you've paid for your upgrade, FS has to
 enter it into their database. Once that's done, you can simply reauthorize
 whenever, and you don't have to wait for anything in the mail. You'll be
