Ok, thanks. I looked on the Adobe site and saw a Flash player and a
Shockwave player. What is the Shockwave player for and do I need it for
internet browsing via IE/Firefox?

Cheers
Chris

IE and Firefox uses different Flash plugins because the browsers have
different plugin architectures. Adobe calls the IE plugin an "ActiveX
plugin" and the Firefox plugin the "Windows plugin" If you install Flash

from the Adobe website, I suspect it will install both.
