If you mean you can't change out the motherboard easily and cheaply, I
agree; otherwise, you can buy anything else you forgot as either a USB
device or a CF card or a mini PCI card.
One thing you should be aware of with laptop buying is that if you buy
one designed with WIFI built-in, it will usually have a built-in antenna
built into the screen lid, which greatly increases its range over those
which are purchased later as a CF card, and which must use a nub antenna
protruding from the card.
