Hi Alice, Although I'm not very expert using Jaws to read tables, I'm pretty sure that this will work for you. Start at the first entry you come to, which will be a stop, I guess. Now press Shift Insert num pad 5. This ought to read across in the way you're hoping for. If I'm wrong, there are people here who are more skilled in reading tables than I am, and they'll correct this suggestion if necessary. But try it and see if it accomplishes what you're hoping. I'm trying to read a table. I'm assuming it is structured as follows: In the first vertical column are the names of the stops, A, B, C, D, etc. In the horizontal rows are the departure times. The way JFW seems to read this is to read the vertical columns so that I read the entire list of stops, then the entire list of the arrival times of the first subway, then the second, then the third, etc. This is obviously not terribly useful, and what I'd like to be able to do is go to stop C and read across to find a departure time from that station that suits me. How can I get JFW to read this way? Thanks.
