May I add that in a program like Word, the main point of focus on the page is *not* the mouse pointer. That's just a tool for doing things, like selecting something, scrolling, clicking a button, and so forth. the focus point for the eyes and for the program is in fact a cursor, which can be changed in appearance to be tall, or short, or look sort of like a steel I beam. That's where you are within your text, and that's what the Jaws cursor follows. If this is not clear enough, I'll try to describe it again. But the discussion seemed to be getting sort of abstract so I thought this clarification might help. ----- Original Message ----- From: "jim grimsby" <jimgrims@xxxxxxxxxxx> To: <jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, March 20, 2005 12:34 PM Subject: RE: find command with IE Hi, this is not true see the notepad find command in windows.
