I use F5 to select the hidden column
(which won't really show anything but will be selected) and then Alt-O
Options menu to unhide the column.

Take care...

Lil,

I do not think that you have a problem with the menu system. I think
that you have another issue.

In order to unhide a column you must have highlighted the hidden column
by selecting with the shift key and your cursor keys the columns on both
sides.

For example. If column B is hidden and you want to unhide it. Select
columns A through C. Then use your menu keys to unhide the column.

I believe that this is your issue. You did not state that you had
selected a range that included the hidden column that you want to
unhide.

I hope that I have been of some assistance.

By the way, you can find JAWS keyboard shortcuts for Excel by going to
the JAWS keyboard manager with the insert key and number 8 on the number
row.

Subject: excel question

Hello,

I was wondering if there is a keyboard command to unhide a column in
excel? I can hide the column by going to the format menu and then arrow
down to column and right arrow over to hide. This works, but when I
repeat the procedure and try to unhide the column nothing happens.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated

Thanks,
Lil ~
