Hi Dean,

I tried that and it didn't work.  Went ot to the JFWLite homepage and tried 
ctrl-shft-) and it didn't work either.

  there is a keyboard command to unhide, but I don't have time to look it up.  
I think it's control+right bracket.  Unhiding does work though.  You select the 
range including the hidden columns, then use Unhide from the columns submenu 
off the format menu.
