Subject: easiest instant messaging client for use with jfw 5

Hi folks,
I guess my subject line says it all. I am suppose to start helping
somebody with a course they are taking, and they will agree to use any
IM client I want. I've avoided these things like the plague, but it
appears that I'm
going to have to use one. I actually used AIM, probably not the most
recent version, and it wasn't with JFW either. I found it something of a
bother. I'm looking for a client that will read messages automatically
as they
come in, and that requires a minimum of hassle to learn, isn't cluttered
up with junk and is keyboard accessible, i.e. something that has those
features out of the box or has good scripts. I have JFW 5 and an xp
machine. Any advice on which ones to use or to avoid would be
appreciated. mary
