Adrian, I checked the keyboard manager and I did not find anything about fastforward and rewine in iTunes. I also checked the passthrough keystroke and I checked (with sighted assistance since iTunes 10 does not let me check its help menu) and there is no such "shortcut" key for fastforward and rewine. I know there is a slider that allows to choose a place for the audio, but I believe the only FF and RW is from jtunes. And I haven't use them since version 8 of iTunes.

I was hoping someone with iTunes experience would reply, but for now, athought in addition to Yadiel's about the JAWS pass-through keystroke, JAWS key + 3 (on the row above the letters). While in iTunes, press JAWS key + 8(also on the row above the letters) to view and modify key assignments. -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Ali Abdolrahmani Sent: Sunday, March 13, 2011 1:38 AM To: jfw Subject: changing jaws hotkeys in an application dear listersi want to use my iTunes "ctrl Alt arrow keys" to fast forward and rewind ona track but these hotkeys are assigned to jaws table navigation. how can i do something to change or disable these hotkeys in itunes so that i can freely use keyboard to navigate the songs. regards ali -- JFW related links: JFW homepage: http://www.freedomscientific.com/ Scripting mailing list: http://lists.the-jdh.com/listinfo.cgi/scriptography-the-jdh.com JFW List instructions: To post a message to the list, send it to jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To unsubscribefrom this mailing list, send a message to jfw-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with theword unsubscribe in the subject line.
