Don't know who posted this originally--and I'm a little slow with my e-mail,
but the announcing of "attachments" by Jaws for messages you receive that were
sent as HTML can be done away with if in OE you go to Tools, Options, the Read
page and check "Read all messages in plain text." By doing this you will lose
all formatting the sender placed in the message.
Personally, I don't ever check to see the formatting of messages I receive (g).

I didn't see a message giving this solution, but I don't receive every message.
If it was answered--press delete (smile).

  Hi,

If you are sending (or receiving) messages in html format jaws will say
"attachment" because an html copy of the message text is attached. Check
what format your outgoing messages take and if it's html switch it to text
and this will resolve the issue. As for the messages you receive there's
nothing you can do about those and should just ignore the attachments.

  Hope that helps,
  Kimberly
