Ah, now I understand what you're saying. The attachments are still very much attached to the message, that's just where Eudora puts them until you can get around to doing what you will with them. You can't have a similar option in Outlook Express, unfortunately. OE uses what's called a PST file. Which means while in OE they look like actual folders, all of your email, contacts etc is stored in one rather sizeable file on your computer. When you open or save an attachment, Outlook Express temporarily pulls it out of that file to be used. There's not an option there to automaticly remove attachments from messages and store them in a different folder, unfortunately. The only way to do it is to manually save the attachment to your music folder. There's no way for Outlook Express, or to my knowledge any other mail client, to just automatically detatch anything from a message. The problem is all these pieces are still attachments and each time I want to hear it I have to open the attachment. I was told by the user of another screen reader that I could create an attachment folder where each attachment will go into the folder and each song will become detached from the message. I am using jaws 7.1 and my email client is outlook express. 1. How do I create an attachment folder? 2. How do I store the folder so that attachments can be put in there manually? I.e. I get the music in my in box. If I want to save it I can do something to open the attachment folder and put my message with the attachment that just becomes a detached song or message in it. I need to know how to create the folder and all the instructions after the folder is created. Thanks, Judith
