Number three. Keep in mind it does not move a whole printed page. To accomplish that, try CTRl plus Numpad three. -----Original Message----- From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Judith Bron Sent: Thursday, September 11, 2008 8:49 AM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Word 2002 format question Which number on the numb pad is page down? ----- Original Message ----- From: Chip Orange <mailto:Corange@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, September 11, 2008 9:54 AM Subject: RE: Word 2002 format question You can get to a page header by going through the view menu and choosing the header option. To check to see if jaws is telling you the truth, press insert+pagedown to get it to read you the Word status bar; that should tell you which page Word says you're on. If it's page 2, then could it be that you've got a page break in your header, or something odd like that? Otherwise, you could have a corrupted document, and you would need to use the repair option of the file open dialog. Finally, it's possible for you or someone to have made page 1 a protected section; so when you read the status bar, see if you're also in section 2 as well as page 2. hth, Chip ------------------------------ Chip Orange Database Administrator Florida Public Service Commission Chip.Orange@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (850) 413-6314 (Any opinions expressed are solely those of the author and do not necessarily reflect those of the Florida Public Service Commission.) ________________________________ From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of ann medlar Sent: Thursday, September 11, 2008 7:01 AM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Word 2002 format question Hi all, As long as I know that Jaws is misinforming then I am fine. I am updating my resume and on top of page 2 I have my name, email, and phone nos. It is not part of document but a header; however, I cannot remember how to get there. Any ideas? I searched on email address and I was able to change email address on page 2 but I cannot remember how to navigate there. I thing it is called a header.
