Hey Ann, To make changes in word documents Headers and footers, follow the follwing steps: 1. Press alt+v to open "View" menu. 2. Arrow down to "Header and footer", and press enter. You will be able to make changes from here. To go back to normal view: Press alt+v, and down arrow to "Normal" and press enter. Hope this helps. Can I use control +f to find a page break which I believe iscontrol+enter? What is correct search arguement for control+enter or pagebreak?Anyway I emailed my resume to my sister and she stated that resume isfine. It is just bugging me that I cannot fix it. To check to see if jaws is telling you the truth, pressinsert+pagedown to get it to read you the Word status bar; that should tellyou which page Word says you're on.If it's page 2, then could it be that you've got a page break inyour header, or something odd like that?Otherwise, you could have a corrupted document, and you would needto use the repair option of the file open dialog. Finally, it's possible for you or someone to have made page 1 a protected section; so when you read the status bar, see if you're also in section 2 as well as page 2. hth, Chip ------------------------------ Chip Orange Database Administrator Florida Public Service Commission Chip.Orange@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx (850) 413-6314(Any opinions expressed are solely those of the author and do notnecessarily reflect those of the Florida Public Service Commission.) --------------------------------------------------------------------From: jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:jfw-bounce@xxxxxxxxxxxxx]On Behalf Of ann medlar Sent: Thursday, September 11, 2008 7:01 AM To: jfw@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Word 2002 format question Hi all, As long as I know that Jaws is misinforming then I am fine.
